Professional DJ of 7 years, Jarrett V. Genovese, aka DJ Vera, combines his mastery of music intelligence and energetic personality to produce a party that will keep people on the dance floor all night. While growing up on the Jersey Shore, DJ Vera was absorbed into one of the most notable party scenes in the country which allowed him to develop a keen sense of what it really means to be in control of a party. Taking his love for music and passion for performing, DJ Vera carried his talents over to Pittsburgh, PA where he established a huge name for himself amongst the nightlife on the longest strip of bars and night clubs in the nation, while pursuing his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. Here, he was seen playing for multiple nightlife venues throughout the city where his name and mixes could be easily recognized across the Steel City. In 2018, DJ Vera was awarded the title of Pittsburgh’s Best College DJ, as he served as the primary DJ across the nightlife of Duquesne University, The University of Pittsburgh, and Carnegie Mellon University. In 2024, DJ Vera performed alongside world renowned music producers Duke Dumont and Gorgon City at Phoenix's M3F Festival. During his time in Pittsburgh, DJ Vera specialized in University events, Corporate Parties, Weddings, and private parties across the regions of Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and West Virginia.
In 2021, DJ Vera graduated Duquesne University with a Doctorate of Pharmacy and moved to Phoenix, AZ. As soon as he touching down on Arizona soil, DJ Vera integrated himself into its world renowned nightlife and can be seen playing at a variety of venues across the Phoenix Valley. Whether you see him performing at bars and nightclubs in Old Town Scottsdale, Mill Avenue, or Downtown Gilbert, or at hotel roof-top pools and private resorts in Paradise Valley, DJ Vera will always deliver the appropriate musical vibe that will keep his audiences engaged for his entire set.
DJ Vera is confident and proficient in mixing all styles of music, and loves to incorporate hip-hop, dance-pop, and EDM remixes into all of his sets. His dedicated work ethic and professional mannerism makes him an amazing DJ to work with, as he guarantees nothing but his top performance for every set he creates. Jarrett Genovese and the entire Engage Entertainment team are incredible! Do not think of going anywhere else!! They were well organized, professional, fun and bring a huge amount of life to the party!! We got married 10.14.23 in Scottsdale and my wife and I could not have asked for a more perfect night. While thinking of our wedding vision we knew we wanted a night club atmosphere and everyone on the dance floor all night, there is not a better person than Jarrett to handle that task! Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night!! Our guests could not stop telling us that this was the best wedding they had ever been to.
Before dinner was even served, all of our friends and family kept coming up saying “this is so much fun and we haven’t even had dinner yet!”. Jarrett was extremely helpful during the entire planning process. The planning tools and resources they provide to their clients helps bring their vision to life. While planning Jarrett was honest, provided great feedback and recommendations for everything. He is very knowledgeable and knew what would work best with our venue space. He spent time getting to know us and sat down with us several times before the wedding to go over the entire day which helped the day run so smoothly! The DJ booth and production they set up was amazing and fit the room perfectly! From the wedding entrances to the after party, Jarrett and the Engage team did an incredible job, we had the best night and danced the night away with all our family and friends.
